Effective October 1, 2008 Required Elements

Girl Scout Daisies through Girl Scout Ambassadors:

Girl Scouts at each level have one OFFICIAL Uniform item (tunic, vest, sash) for the display of official pins and awards which will be required when girls participate in ceremonies or officially represent the Girl Scout Movement.

The official dress code will unite girls as Girl Scouts.  Girls Scouts at the Daisy and Brownie levels will continue to have a full uniform ensemble available.  For Girl Scout Junior through Girl Scout Ambassador levels, Girl Scouts will wear solid white shirts khaki pants or skirts with their required official uniform item (tunic, vest, sash), the official dress code as required when participating in ceremonies or when officially representing the Girl Scout Movement.

Girl Scout Senior and Ambassadors:

Girl Scouts in high school will also have a scarf, uniting them in WAGGGS tradition.

Girl Scout Adults:

The official uniform for adults is navy blue business attire worn with an official scarf and membership pins for women, and the tie for men.
