Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons is a non-profit organization chartered by Girl Scouts of the USA (GSUSA), the largest girl leadership organization in the world.  

Our Council covers the second largest geographical area nationwide, and includes cities, towns, farms, ranches, reservations, hills, prairies and plains in North Dakota, South Dakota, Minnesota and Iowa. 

Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons headquarters office is located in Sioux Falls, SD.  We have four district offices located in Fargo and Bismarck, ND and Sioux Falls and Rapid City, SD.   Additionally, we have four field offices located in Minot and Grand Forks, ND, and Aberdeen and Huron, SD. 

Girl Scouting is meant for every girl, everywhere to experience.  The Dakota Horizons' council covers more than 164,000 squares miles and has more than 1,666 Girl Scout troops. 12,340 girls, 2,418 leaders and 1,997 adult and lifetime members make up Girl Scouts—Dakota Horizons. Girl Scout programs are offered on 13 Indian Reservations, 3 Air Force Bases and cover 134 counties across Dakota Horizons.

This girl-led organization is making a BIG IMPACT in the lives of girls in our communities and in the world. Girls develop new passions, refine their interests and gain leadership skills. Activities are girl driven, hands-on and girls are guided by committed adults, who make learning fun and help each girl achieve her personal best.
